The ancient Mishkan was carried by the Jews through the desert, and God’s holy spirit came to permeate where ever they set it up and gathered in and around it. The vision for our Mishkan is similar: we aim to make Judaism’s learning, spirituality, inspiration, conversation (and sometimes controversy) more accessible- to take it beyond the walls of the synagogue and into the public sphere.
