The Jewish Emergent Network is a collaboration between seven path-breaking Jewish communities from across the United States, including Mishkan Chicago.
Every entrepreneurial venture must answer the question of how to grow, or scale, beyond a local effort to an even larger impact. In 2016, Mishkan joined forces with six other emergent communities across the country to train the next generation of entrepreneurial rabbis in a Rabbinic Fellowship. The Network’s Fellowship program places a select cohort of early career rabbis into one of the seven participating communities for a two-year period immersing them in the work of these thriving and innovative Jewish communities. The Fellows are supported in the development of their rabbinic vision and skills, preparing them to complete the Fellowship as part of a national cohort of creative, vision-driven rabbis eager to invest in the reanimation of North American Jewish life. This is how we are growing the next generation of innovative Jewish thinkers and spiritual leaders.
