Get ready to pull out your blankets and candles for Tisha B’Av, the most solemn day on the Jewish calendar. This year, as we dwell in uncertainty, we will do our traditional reading of Lamentations, with modern poetry added to the mix. Featuring the work of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), Queer, and Jewish poets — as well as original poetry from Mishkanites — this night will offer space for communal reflection about our past and our present.
