Mishkan’s Family Camp!

Join us for a weekend retreat all about you – and your family.

OSRUI in partnership with Mishkan Chicago are thrilled to present JFAM a family camp weekend on November 3-5 in Oconomowoc, WI. JFAM family camps specialize in helping families relax, have fun, and spend quality family time together while building community, making new friends, and engaging with and learning about Jewish rituals and customs. Led by our Mishkan rabbis and staff, this will be a special opportunity to power down and celebrate Shabbat with fellow Mishkan families at this all-inclusive family camp. Room and board, all meals, activities, and even babysitting are provided – all you have to do is show up!

Family camp is a program for Builder families and geared toward families with kids ages 3 – 8. Siblings of elementary and preschool aged kiddos are more than welcome!

Registration is now open and will be limited to 40 families (families must be Builders to participate).

 

 The Details!

The all-inclusive price for Mishkan’s Family Camp weekend is $500/family unit. Families attending the OSRUI retreat for the first time will receive a $100 discount with the code 100-off, a subsidy sponsored by JFAM. If financial assistance is needed, please contact [email protected]. Your registration will cover your room, all meals, coffee, activities, babysitting and staffing, etc.

For more details, check out our preliminary schedule – expect a fun-filled weekend of singing, learning, activities, relaxing, and all the hits of summer camp including games, a talent show, and more! Plan to arrive on Friday, November 3 between 3 – 4 pm and depart on Sunday, November 5 at 10:30 am.

Each family will be assigned one private room with an attached bathroom. Rooms will have either a full bed with two twins or two twin beds with space for a rollaway bed. Linens & bedding are included and pack and plays are available. If you would to add-on an additional connecting room, you may do so for an additional $250. Our retreat will use the Schaalman Lodge (more information on accommodations available here).
