DESCRIPTION:The Justice Journey Alliance\, Leadership Foundation of Chicago (JJALFOC)\, invites you to the inaugural Imagine Justice Juneteenth Commemorative Walk on Thursday\, June 19\, 2025. This 2.5-mile walk begins at 31st Street Beach\, proceeds north to 18th Street\, and returns via the Lakefront Trail. The distance honors the 2.5-year delay in freedom reaching the last enslaved people in Texas following the Emancipation Proclamation.
