Our Adult BMitzvah Cohort is an opportunity to dive deeper into your Judaism by embracing an important ritual of Jewish adulthood (no matter your age!) Together\, we’ll explore what it means to be a Jew now\, build skills in Torah reading\, and develop our own interpretations of text. \nThe cohort unfolds over three modules: in April\, we explore what it means to become BMitzvah and our own Jewish journeys; in May we will learn trope; and in July we will write own drash (short sermons). We’ll culminate with two Saturday mornings in August\, where we’ll learn the flow of the service and celebrate together as you mark this moment publicly with the Mishkan community. Or perhaps you are thinking about exploring them for the first time? Join Rabbi Steven on Shabbat mornings to dive into the world of the rabbis. Texts will be in Hebrew and English. Feel free to join us at services after or to head out into your day! \nThis program is drop-in and will meet from 8:45 – 9:45 AM before the following Saturday Morning Shabbat Services: 10/10\, 10/24\, 11/7\, 11/21\, 12/5\, 12/19 \nIf you plan on attending any of these sessions we ask that you register here.
