Raised a Michigander, Keith is a recipient of the full-ride Presidential Scholarship to Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) where they graduated with a BA in Creative Writing. Outside of Mishkan, Keith is an activist and writer. They are the writer of the award-winning documentary Mentality (2021) with director Garret Morgan and the librettist of the mental health musical Sanest Person in the Room with composer Logan Hahn.
