Rebecca Stevens

Senior Director of Programs

Rebecca Stevens is a designer, facilitator, and performance artist. She served as the inaugural Director of Programs at Ask Big Questions, a program of Hillel International and has been an Associate with UpStart since 2017 where she partners with innovators to create transformative Jewish experiences. She has worked broadly across the non-profit sector including museums, libraries, community news rooms, immigration law clinics, and humanities organizations. As an artist, her participatory theater events and installations have been produced at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Smart Museum of Art, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Chicago Shakespeare Theater’s Shakespeare 400, and Chicago Humanities Festival. She has worked with Mishkan as an Experience Designer since 2014. Rebecca holds a degree in theater and creative writing from Northwestern University. She is currently an MFA Candidate in Performance Research at the University of London.
