Giving Levels
In our everybody-friendly community, all are welcome regardless of ability to pay.
We subsidize more than $80,000 annually in Buildership fees, programs and event tickets, and tuition for our community members. Just as in the ancient Mishkan, every contribution counts, and no one is turned away for lack of funds. Part of what makes this possible is the generosity of many, including those giving at higher levels. We have several special gathering opportunities for these folks throughout the year as a way of saying, “hey, thanks for keeping us radically inclusive!”
Macher Collective: $10,000+
In Yiddish, macher means a person who gets things done, literally a “maker.” We are aware of the connotations of the word and are reclaiming it as a force for good in the world! This group makes this community possible for so many others with their support. This is our highest tier of major donor.
Folks at this level are invited to several intimate ritual-and-discussion based experiences throughout the year, and names (with permission) will be shared in our annual State of the Mishkan report.
Mishpucha: $5,000-$9,999
You’re family! And like any strong mishpucha, people contribute in different ways to create a warm, vibrant, loving home for themselves and others. This is our entry tier of major donor.
Folks at this level are invited to special events throughout the year, and names (with permission) will be shared in our annual State of the Mishkan report.
Derech Eretz: $2,500-$4,999
This Hebrew phrase is translated literally to “way of the land,” but is used more colloquially to describe people who are friendly, helpful and good. This is our mid-range donor tier.
Folks at this level are invited to one special event per year.
