Shabbat for Families

Grow with us!

We offer a wide variety of family programs that support a range of ages and stages of our Mishkan community. Spend your Saturday morning singing your hearts out in one of our playful Shabbat programs.

Ages 0-2

Join us for Mini Mishkan at 11:15 am, a monthly Shabbat morning gathering for parents and kids ages 0-2 to explore Jewish spirituality through music, storytelling, prayer and play, led by R’ Anna Levin Rosen and Tal Rosen. Mini Mishkan is held during our Rise Shabbat morning service on the first Saturday morning of every month at Second Unitarian (2U) in Lakeview. We invite you to join Rise Shabbat at 10:40am to help us dance with the Torah.

Parsha Play
3 – 6 year olds

Your 3-6 year olds will step inside the stories of the Torah and experience them through theatre and play. Led by Mishkan family educator Anna Wolfe, this program meets downstairs at 2nd Unitarian from 11 am – noon during our Rise Saturday Shabbat.

Rise and Shine: Shabbat for Families
2 – 8 year olds

Rise and shine with our dynamite Rabbi team for a playful Shabbat experience for all ages. Open your heart with singing and stories for kids and grown-ups alike. We’ll end with a bagel brunch. Everyone is invited.
