In 6th grade, we focus on Jewish lifecycle events including birth, BMitzvah, and death and dying. While this can be a difficult topic, we’ll learn age-appropriate Jewish skills like the mourner’s kaddish, attending Shiva, and remembering our loved ones. This program will be led by the Chicago Jewish Funeral Home Founder David Jacobson and is geared toward 6th graders and their grown-ups.
