Join us for Mishkan’s first-ever Adult B’nai Mitzvah Cohort! Whether you’re looking for a do-over on chanting your Torah portion from when you were 13 or you never had a BMitzvah and want a chance to dive deep into Hebrew, prayer, theology, and Jewish ritual, this series is for you. We’ll be learning how to chant Torah with trop, gaining confidence in Hebrew reading, learning how to lead Shabbat morning prayers, and diving deep into Torah study to be able to prepare a d’var Torah/mini-sermon, all culminating in a cohort b’nai mitzvah celebration on Shabbat morning, June 6, 2020.

We’ll be meeting on Tuesday evenings beginning on November 12th through the end of May (with some exceptions). The registration fee for the class is $180, and builders can receive a 50% off code by emailing Zach ([email protected]) or R’ Lauren ([email protected]). This registration fee does not include a $36 suggested donation to support the cost of kiddush lunch for the BMitzvah celebration.
