In the final days of Elul, the month leading up to Rosh Hashanah, it is a tradition to gather to observe havdalah and sing songs called Selichot (Hebrew for “forgiveness”). Kindergarten – 5th grade students and their families are invited to join us for a pizza dinner. Afterwards, Rabbi Julie will lead havdalah, and themed activities to learn about the holiday and prepare for the High Holy Days.
