In times of crisis, it is easy to be overwhelmed by the needs of our community and the myriad ways that the systems and structures that are supposed to protect the most vulnerable among us are failing. As COVID-19 continues to impact individuals around the country and our own friends and family, it is critical that we keep our eyes on the policies, both federally and locally, that create our current circumstances. With a focus on workforce development, housing, healthcare, and fair taxes, let’s come together as a community to learn about how our government could support each and every citizen, both for now and in the future!
