“We invite you to join our Kol Or Jews of Color Caucus for the 6th annual, one-of-a-kind Juneteenth Havdalah. The Juneteenth Havdalah is Kol Or’s biggest event of the year. More than 100 members of the JCUA community and beyond come together to commemorate Juneteenth, observe Shabbat, and celebrate our multi-ethnic, multiracial Jewish community. This year, our theme is Liberation: Can You Feel It?We will bring that feeling of freedom to our hearts and minds through celebration. There will be games, dancing, kid-friendly activities, communal art-making, and a delicious catered meal. As dusk draws near, we will bid farewell to Shabbat and welcome a new week with a moving Havdalah service. If you can’t attend in person, we will have an option to livestream. All are welcome as we gather in friendship and love.”
