Every year, Kol Or (the Jews of Color Caucus at JCUA) hosts a Juneteenth celebration for the entire JCUA community. Juneteenth commemorates the official end of slavery in the state of Texas on June 19, 1865 and the enduring struggle for Black freedom in the United States. Kol Or’s Juneteenth Havdalah is always a joyful, educational, celebratory event, and we would love to see you there!
