We’re inviting families with young kids (anywhere from pre-K to 3rd grade) to gather with Mishkan monthly to volunteer together and actively participate in tikkun olam – the hands-on work of making our city and our world better! We’ll be partnering with organizations throughout Chicago from January-June to learn about the ways we can repair our world and connect more deeply with each other in the process. During our first two sessions, we’ll be working with the Nora Project, building empathy and relationships between students and their peers with disabilities. Families are expected to attend all sessions if possible.
The program itself will be from 10am-12pm, with lunch provided afterwards from 12pm-12:30pm.
