Moving Traditions is a support group for teenage Mishkanites in grades 7-10. We will explore the challenges and joys of teens’ lives while having a good time and making great friends. Teens will be sorted into small groups according to gender identity so they can speak freely about relationships, gender, stress, school, and anything else that’s on their mind. Each group is led by a trained adult leader with knowledge of social emotional learning, an understanding of teen culture, and Jewish wisdom. If you are interested, please contact Rabbi Deena.
Groups will meet monthly on Sundays from September through June. Tentative dates are September 11th, October 9th, November 6th, December 4th, January 8th, February 5th, March 12th, April 2nd, May 7th, and June 4th. However, every group is permitted to find mutually agreeable dates and times which work for them!
$360 per teen — financial assistance is available.
