MASK works to build stronger communities through a focus on violence prevention, food insecurity and housing. Meet us at 2:00pm at Harvestime Foods (2632 W Lawrence Ave)- owned by Mishkanite Chris Dallas- to shop for grilling supplies. Then we will head to the South Side at 4:30pm to hang out at the MASK BBQ. (Yes, we’ll be feeding others on a fast day). We will discuss stories of meeting baseless hate with boundless love, do some yoga with AnnMerle Feldman, and learn more about the incredible work of Tamar Menasseh and MASK.
