July is time for learning in the Park! Join R’Steven at the Welles Park Gazebo from 10:00 am to noon for a deep dive into the siddur, helping us to slow down (it’s summer after all) and build a more personal relationship with the words of the prayer book. Bring your chair or blanket (and a picnic if you want); we’ll provide the challah and grape juice for kiddush. Families can join us at 11:15am for singing and stories. Then, stay for Picnic, Parsha, and Power, an all ages picnic with the Mishkan Local Action Team to build community, learn some Torah, and talk about how we can take action together to build a more just Chicago. Bring food for yourself or a dish to share!
