Mussar is a Jewish spiritual tradition that offers insight and guidance for living by directing us to pay attention to the impact our traits (middot) have in our lives. This methodical approach can carry us from where we are today toward the ideal we seek. Everything we do in life is part of the soul work that will help to make us complete. Hosted by Dr. Rachel Levin and Lori Frischer at Lori’s Highland Park home, this book club and discussion group will follow the curriculum set forward in the book Everyday Holiness by Alan Morinis founder of the Mussar Institute. This is group will meet monthly at a rotating host’s home. This home is accessible with free street parking and contains two cute doggos.
