What do we want future generations to know about this moment? Join Mishkanite Stacy Gillet of Once Upon Our Time Capsule, Rabbi Ari, and Mensch Academy Director Nathan Kaplin for an intergenerational evening of storytelling, creativity, and meaning-making. Together, parents and kids will create time capsules that explore the cultural artifacts and stories that shape their lives. For 5th graders, this gathering will spark reflection on what it means to step into BMitzvah and Jewish adulthood in their last year of Mensch Academy! For 8th graders, it’s a chance to look ahead and imagine the next chapter. Each participant will create their own time capsule to hold their reflections, and we’ll close the night with dinner and Havdalah. This program costs $36 per family.
