This class is the first in a series designed for young adults to dig into Jewish spirituality, created by Hebrew Seminary, co-sponsored by Silverstein Base Hillel of Lincoln Park, Anshe Emet Synagogue and Mishkan Chicago. According to Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, prayer should be an adventure of the soul– but that’s not how the average Jew would describe their experience in synagogue. This class will help you access the deeper meanings and parts of yourself that make prayer inspiring and fulfilling, and hopefully give you the tools and confidence to have that soul adventure the next time you walk into shul.

Light refreshments will be provided. American Sign Language interpreter will be present. All are welcome to attend at no cost.  This program is supported by a JUF Young Adult Engagement Grant.
