Alison Gerber

Alison is from Oak Park, IL and holds a BA in History from Macalester College. She will join the Mishkan team after many years leading fundraising and development, volunteer management, and communications at education organizations, most recently with the Chicago-based literacy non-profit, Open Books. Throughout her professional roles, Alison brings enthusiasm and care for mission-based work that centers community-building and learning, and that is exactly what brought her to this role at Mishkan. After years of following Mishkan’s work, she is eager to join the team and dive deeper into her professional talents and personal connection to the Mishkan community.
