Jourdan Lewanda (she/her) is Mishkan’s Administrative and Ritual Assistant, taking on an expanded role after two great years working with Mishkan’s programs team. Though you may have seen Jourdan working a Shabbat service or community event, you may not know that she’s also helped revamp the Hebrew slides for the High Holiday livestream, built a hefty percentage of the furniture in Mishkan’s office space, or that she is also working as an actor and visual artist in Chicago and beyond! If you are curious, one of Jourdan’s artist books will be exhibited at the Book Arts Center in Minneapolis this October (and you can find her on instagram at @jourdanlewandacollages), and she was last on stage in the Helen Hayes nominated “Prayer for the French Republic” at Theater J in Washington, DC.
