Rachel is originally from St. Louis and holds a BA in History from Northwestern University and an MA in Jewish Professional Studies from The Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership. Rachel served as a Community Engagement Fellow at NEXT Chicago, earned a certificate in Israel Education from the iCenter and was previously the Director of Engagement at University of Chicago Hillel and the Associate Director of jUChicago. She has learned at the Pardes Institute, SVARA: A Traditionally Radical Yeshiva, the Tikvah Fund and Yeshiva University. Rachel is a new board member at Upstart and a mentor for the Chicago JCC’s Women in Power 2022 cohort. She lives in Chicago with her husband and two kids.
