Ronan Goforth

Finance & Administrative Associate

(they/she)

Ronan grew up in Northern Virginia and has lived in Chicago since 2019. They were raised in the Christian tradition but eventually found their way to Mishkan’s Exploring Judaism (now Blueprint) program. They hold a BA in American Studies from the University of Mary Washington, where they published a senior thesis exploring bias in media coverage of the Chicago chapter of the Black Panther Party. When they aren’t organizing an expense report or welcoming new Builders to the Mishkan community, they enjoy searching for Chicago’s best cardamom latte, getting tangled in a new knitting project, and cooking their way around the world. Ronan is also a member of a semi-international romance book club and spends too much time thinking about ice hockey. Ronan lives with their spouse, Caleb, and their cat, Ozymandias, in Andersonville.
