We are living through a global pandemic, we have seen our cities destroyed, and our Black community members killed by people hired to enforce “safety.” We are deeply alone and yet we are also more connected than ever before. Where is God? As we observe Tisha B’Av, we ask this question. Where was God when the Temple was destroyed in 70 CE? In this Lunch + Learn, we will look at examples of our ancestors finding God amidst chaos and discuss how we can use these texts to find God in our world today.
