On Tisha b’Av we remember the most painful moments of our people’s history. While the destruction of the the first and second Temples in Jerusalem are the big headline losses, this holiday has become a container for our collective pain, and an opportunity to examine our own role in causing pain to ourselves and others.

Join us for a reading of Eicha (the book of Lamentations) and a screening of Legend of Destruction, a modern cinematic retelling of this ancient story — an act of remembrance and a message for our own time about corruption, exploitation, spiritual and social decay.
