In order to understand Israeli history, it is imperative that we understand Palestinian history—and vice versa. This presentation by Dr. David Myers and Dr. Hussein Ibish will provide historical knowledge, nuance, empathy and the critical distance necessary for a meaningful discussion of both histories and of Israeli society today.

We will look to the upcoming elections on September 17th with a measure of historical perspective in order to understand this political moment, how we got here, and what the future holds for Israelis and Palestinians.
