Ronan Goforth was born and raised in Virginia, moved to Chicago in 2019, and finished their conversion with Mishkan in 2021. They hold a BA in American Studies from the University of Mary Washington, where their senior thesis was used as research for the movie Judas and the Black Messiah. When they’re not at their office job or a Mishkan service, they are finishing up a Master’s degree in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies. They live in Andersonville with their beloved fiancee and far too many plants, and love to talk about trans rights, immigration policy, and British panel shows.
