A powerful documentary film about a young gay man raised on a religious kibbutz struggling to find love and acceptance as an adult. Debuting for the first time, the director of the 2016 Award Winning Documentary, Tomer Heymann, will be in attendance to participate in a panel discussion following the film. Watch the trailer here.

Join Anshe Emet and Mishkan to welcome the entire community to gather in solidarity with refugees as part of HIAS's National Day of Jewish Action for Refugees. We will mobilize for the safety and dignity of victims of violence and persecution around the world through prayer, song, learning, stories, and a pledge to action. We will stand together as a Jewish community in support of refugees seeking safety in our borders. We hope to bring together all members of our community.…

Nechama: Workshop to Comfort the Bereaved

Nechama is for grievers and their loved ones who have experienced a death over the past six months. This workshop will provide information on the grieving process and coping skills as well as how Judaism helps the bereaved. Participants will  learn about the grief process, coping mechanisms, different grieving styles and how to gain and receive support from friends and family.
