Join Tani Prell from 18Doors, Jackie Maris from Keshet, and Rabbi Steven from Mishkan at Kathy Osterman Beach for an inclusive Rosh Hashanah ritual. In Hebrew, tashlich means “casting off” and saying goodbye to the parts of ourselves we want to leave behind, reflect on, apologize for and move past in the year ahead. It’s a time of reflection, calm and in our case, community. We will gather together as LGBTQ+ and interfaith couples and individuals to share in making this ritual our own. After we toss animal-friendly items (like pebbles or oats) in the lake, we’ll spend time together on the beach and in the park enjoying each other’s company with music and light bites.
