You Can’t Take It With You: Ethical Wills

01/26/2022 @ 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm CST

For many of us, living through a pandemic has created the opening for the uncomfortable yet inevitable internal conversation: if I died tomorrow, how would people remember me? This class is an opportunity to use the framework of ethical wills to think seriously about how you want to be remembered – and to define who you want to be right now. This class is open to people of all ages and life stages; an ethical will is something you can write multiple times throughout your life. Co-taught by R’ Lizzi and R’ Steven, we will explore the idea of death and legacy from the Jewish perspective, legacy giving, social impact, and justice. You’ll walk away with your own ethical wills, based on your values and aspirations for your legacy. This class is a four-part virtual series and costs $36 (half off for Builders).
